Stop Slavery and Human Trafficking

Ashton Kutcher delivered his opening statement before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on ending modern slavery and human trafficking on February 15, 2017.

He is a co-founder of Thorn, digital defenders of children in Los Angels, CA, which mission is to "Drive Tech Innovation to Fight Child Sexual Exploitation."

Spotlight is a tool available to fight against human trafficking. It is reducing the investigation time of trafficking cases by 60%.

We have to stop slavery and human trafficking. It is very unfortunate that Japan has been known as a major country of destination for human trafficking.  We have women (and children) from North Asia, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia and Latin America trafficked to this country for commercial sexual exploitation.
