What's up with women with their passion for shoes?

It's just shoes, and as we know we have so many shoes already, why we keep buying new ones?

I have so many shoes (as you can see in the picrure), and they are just for summer! In my closet, I have boxes of shoes for spring, autumn, and winter...

I've read in a magazine that people who have many shoes are "players." They can't stick with a partner and they keep watching new ones. Is that true? I am very faithful and I don't do "browsing" when I am commited to someone I like. What's up with my desire to buy more shoes? I know I end up buying shoes that are so similar to the ones I alreay have.
