BFがアメリカ出張に行って１週間。長いような短いような長いような短いような長いような・・・とループしながら彼を想って過ごす日々でしたが、今日の午後ようやく帰国します。つい先ほど、アメリカを発つ日の午後、BFがとてもラグジュアリーなお土産をゲットしてくれましたよ。Thank YOU!
そのお土産とは、「ペニンシュラ・ベアー」のぬいぐるみであり、それにたどり着くまでの「ペニンシュラ・ホスピタリティー」であり、それよりもなによりも、その全てに出会うために大切な時間を費やしてくれたBFの愛、優しさと思いやりです。心から感謝しています。BFと一緒に生きている「モーメント」がとても貴重です。私の宝物です。いつもありがとう！ Thank YOU and love YOU so much!
BFのために「ペニンシュラ・ホスピタリティー」で接してくださったWさんと彼のスタッフの、ゲストの期待値を超える「サービス」、記憶に残る「モーメント」は、「ペニンシュラ・ホスピタリティー」の大切な要素です。それを魅せてくれたWさんは本当に素晴らしく、ぜひお手本にさせていただきます。
いやしかし、Wさんの上を行くのは・・・私のBFです。BFはいつも、出会った日から今日まで、９年半という長い間、病める時も健やかなる時も、ずっと変わらない「ホスピタリティー」をもって接してくれています。BFにはぜひとも「King of Hospitality」の称号を差し上げたいと思います。いつも本当にありがとう。
さて以下、Wさんと彼のスタッフに宛てた感謝メール（私にしては少々長い！）を書きましたよ。（個人情報保護のため、ペニンシュラホテルのロケーションやWさんの役職や名前はこのブログではふせてあります）

Just wanted to say thank you to the Peninsula [City] [Title] Mr. [Name] and his colleagues for their "Peninsula" hospitality extended to my loving partner of 10 years who just visited the Peninsula [City] for a few minutes today for the first time!
It all happened spontaneously while my partner (who were in [City] on a business trip) and I were facetiming. He decided to go to the Peninsula [City] near his staying hotel and look for "Peter Bear" which he remembered I had previously talked about.
My partner entered the hotel asked staff if he would be able to meet with "Peter Bear," and was kindly told to go up to the lobby where he would be able to meet "Him". As he arrived at the lobby, he asked staff if he would be able to meet with "Peter Bear" and was again kindly told that he would be able to do so if the staff near the entrance said he would. And the next moment, out of nowhere, a gentleman magically appeared in his hand with a "Peter Bear" staffed animal and welcomed my partner.
That gentleman was Mr. [Name] who had previously worked at the Peninsula [City] and he and my partner chatted in Japanese for a while and exchanged business cards.
My partner was moved by this "Peninsula hospitality" experience, which I've been passionately talking to him about since I joined the Peninsula [City] a month ago. And my partner promised me that we would definitely go stay at the Peninsula [City] in the near future.
So, thank you very much for creating this beautiful "Peninsula" moment (and the "Peter Bear" stuffed animal) that my partner will take home as the best [City] souvenir. Everyday I'm proud and grateful to be a part of the Peninsula family, as I get to see something "luxurious" happened at the Peninsula [City] and other Peninsula hotels globally!
